The year comes to an end in vivid green...

Before the Christ Child and Father Christmas set out to make many children happy for the most beautiful holiday of the year, we put our heads together again in Oberhof.

“Should this be ordered in moss green or lime green?”

“Would it be better to plan more space for this?”

“Will it be 100 metres or is 120 better?”

Questions upon questions, so many decisions had to be made in the last few days. After all, we will soon be opening the booking portal for The Grand Green – Familux Resort. Of course, there is still a lot to do. After all, you want to know how big the family suites will be and get an idea of what they will look like. Of course, it is also important to know that the soft play area will have two floors and be an astonishing eight metres high. In case mum and dad unexpectedly have to work during their well-deserved holiday, we have planned two office spaces. And the many cosy niches with snug hanging chairs will invite you to chill out.

And the interior will be colourful and green – with a touch of “hygge”, i.e. simple and modern with lots of cosiness! To feel good and switch off. “… bringing the Thuringian Forest into The Grand Green.” – is the demand we set to our interior designers. Students from the University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt also put their heads together and came up with great ideas. Moss on the walls, lots of natural stone and wood, light and shade, trees, and plants – everything there is to discover outside will also be found inside. We can hardly wait.

Spacious areas for action and fun, lots of space for slowing down and taking a deep breath, plenty of room for enjoyment and time for two, and lots of beautiful countryside for family time together. This is how it will be when the doors to our Familux Resort in Oberhof open in exactly one year’s time.
